From 2001 ACASA Association issues 2 magazines, "Maine" ("Tomorrow") and "Maine Junior" ("Tomorrow Junior"), which serve as means of communication and information between beneficiaries offered by ACASA Network, ACASA’s partners and the whole civil society. These have a function of raising public awareness concerning persons from vulnerable groups from which they also make part. At the same time, these represent a chain of messages which link together persons with disabilities, institutions responsible for prevention and solving the problems faced by these. Also, by means of these magazines the beneficiaries can find more about their pears’ experiences and successes.

The Magazine "Maine" ("Tomorrow") is a periodical magazine (1500 issues per 3 months). It is distributed for free mostly in rural areas, to member organizations and partners of ACASA. The main source of information for this magazine is the public opinion regarding the charity activities implemented by ACASA, members NGO and other partners. Also, in this magazine the monitoring of regional programs supported financially by CORDAID – the main ACASA’s donor – and other international donors as well. The magazine also offers a wide range of information about social problems in Moldova, activities and charity programs, local, European and International experiences for rehabilitation and integration of persons from social vulnerable groups into social mainstream. Other aspects included in this magazine is integration of children with disabilities in public schools, their deinstitutionalization as well as home caring services for elderly. Also the measures undertaken by local authorities are described in this magazine. At the same time, this publication offers a real opportunity for promotion of NGOs, as well as the Social Centers, etc; this contributes to a prolific collaboration of the NGO sector with the local and public authorities, as well as with different experts in this field. This way the partnerships and fundraising activities are facilitated. The most of authors of this magazine are representatives of NGOs – members or partners of ACASA, professionals, social experts, and several journalists familiarized with this theme. The purchasing power of new newspapers in Moldova is very low. At the same time, central mass media speaks just occasionally about children with disabilities. Due to this fact the magazine "Maine" is one of few informational sources, sometimes the only one, which speaks about the situation of this category of persons and what is done in order to improve this situation.

The magazine "Maine - Junior" is issued twice per year. The authors of the articles are children, usually children from daily centers from the ACASA’s Network. The magazine is a means for removing artificial barriers built up by the society between pupils from lyceums and public schools and children with special needs. The magazine "Maine - Junior" is the only publication in which these children can write, draw, and to present their paintings made by their selves, also this is a possibility to know many other peers with disabilities and help these to establish a mutual communication. For many children who collaborated with our magazine this was an opportunity. After publication of their works these were admitted in schools of art, faculties of Journalism, etc.

Both magazines consist of articles in English, Romanian and Russian, this way assuring its accessibility for wide society from all regions of Moldova and abroad.
