On the 24th of October take place the 7th Anniversary of activity of the Umbrella of Services Providers for Persons with Disabilities and their Families “Anna Maria Loonen”, a Network which consists of 16 NGOs active in the field of social inclusion of persons with disabilities and their families under ACASA aegis.
At this event participated Representatives from the following Organizations: Everychild, “Keystone Human Services International”, Association “Motivatie”, The Centre “Speranta” Chisinau, as well as the representatives of the Direction for Protection of Children’s Rights, from Chisinau.
The Anniversary Activity was inaugurated with a concert of a group of children beneficiaries of the Centre “Incluziune” constituted within the Association “Mugurel” from Tatarasti village, district Straseni.
The activity was a non-formal one. The scope of this activity was promotion of the successes and activities of the Umbrella “Anna Maria Loonen”
In this perspective, the materials which reflect the successes and the evolution of the Umbrella and of the persons with disabilities or of the persons who take care of children with disabilities were presented.
The presentation of best practices of the member Organizations was also an issue on the Agenda of this event. Thus, Mrs. Maria Calchei, the President of the Association “Sprijin si Speranta”, Ungheni, Mrs. Elena Mereacre Executive Director of the Association “Compasiune”, Costesti, Ialoveni, and Mrs. Maria Mogildea, the President of the Association “Dorinta”, Calarasi presented the successes and evolution of their organizations.
The solemn moment of the event was the presentation of the Certificates of Membership of the Umbrella “Anna Maria Loonen”.
