On Friday, the 6th of November 2009, in Ungheni started the project “Equal chances in early education for all children”, which's goal is inauguration of the first inclusive kindergarten in the Republic of Moldova. 
The project is implemented by the Association “Sprijin si Speranta”, Ungheni, which's initiative, was realized by the support of the Association for Charity and Social Assistance “ACASA”, the City Hall of Ungheni, Janivo Foundation from the Netherlands, as well as with the financial support from other foreign donors. 
 
At this very moment, the project is at the stage of reparation of the building. The next step is to recruit, select and hire the team of specialists. Later on the group of beneficiaries will be selected. The program and the method of work with this group will be elaborated as well. 
It is to be mentioned the fact that the project is supported by the City Hall of Ungheni, which takes part in the implementation process (infrastructure's development, offering the building for the kindergarten) as well as in the process of fundraising for this project.  

In this perspective, the City Hall managed to indentify the potential donors and to collect from these the amount of € 134.000. 

Alexandru Ambros, the Mayor of Ungheni mentioned that the contribution of the City Hall in this project, during next 2 years will reach the sum of 5.000.000 MDL. This money will be spent for reparation, equipment purchasing, working materials and the personnel remuneration.

Mr. Alexandru Ambros, the Mayor of Ungheni, Mrs. Iulia Panico, from the General Direction for Learning Youth and Sport from Ungheni as well as managers from different educational institutions from Ungheni, who will participate as partners in this very project took part at this event. 

The presentation of the project provoked many discussions which had a goal to generate ideas and solutions for increasing the parents' participation, participation of state structures, educational institutions, for identification of new partners from the community as well as for improvement of the functional process of the Kindergarten. 

The project started the enthusiasm, hope and belief that children with health problems will have the chance to benefit from a better future, as well as from many opportunities for social integration.
